Kryfix Construction Grade PU Sealant is a one-component, high-modulus polyurethane sealant formulated for tough structural applications. Designed for both interior and exterior use, it delivers outstanding adhesion, flexibility, and environmental durability for long-term sealing performance.

Properties

• One-component, moisture-curable polyurethane
• High modulus with strong adhesion to porous and non-porous substrates
• Anti-sag formulation for vertical and horizontal joints
• ±25% movement capability for dynamic construction joints
• Excellent tear strength and mechanical durability
• Permanently elastic with >600% elongation at break
• Tack-free in 45–75 minutes, full cure at >3 mm/24h
• Temperature resistant from –40 °C to +80 °C
• Resists water, seawater, weak alkalis, cement mortar, and mild cleaning agents
• Chemically stable and bubble-free curing

Application areas

• Joint sealing between concrete, metal, and timber in structural builds
• Ground-to-stair, ground-to-wall, and ground-to-frame sealing
• Sealing pipelines, ventilation joints, and façade gaps
• Bonding in metalwork, precast concrete, and timber assemblies
• Suitable for moderate displacement zones and general construction joints

Suitable surfaces: Concrete, Cement Mortar, Aerated Concrete, Brick, Coated Metal, Powder Coated Frames, Timber, and PVC. Not suitable for glass-on-glass seals, oily substrates, EPDM rubber, or submerged joints.
