Background
Construction of a new classroom building and newadministration block was completed by Edwards Constructions at Bates Drive School in Kareela, in Sydney’s southern suburbs. Bates Drive School is a school for students with special needs aged 5 – 18 years.
KRYFIX provided KGM Liquid Membranes to this $4.5m project.
Solution
KGM-200 liquid membrane was applied to the bathrooms of this school project.
KGM-200 is a water-based polyurethane Class III waterproofing membrane. It cures to form a durable, odourless, impervious, seamless membrane that resists re-emulsifying after it has fully dried. It is designed for internal and non-exposed external applications. Typical areas of application include bathrooms and
wet areas, planter boxes, balconies, tiled or topped decks and water tanks.
