Richard Crookes completed construction of the Northside Clinic located at St Leonards on the north shore of Sydney for Ramsay Health Care. Northside Clinic is a mental health facility that provide innovative, holistic treatment programs that cater to the specific needs of people suffering from mental health disorders. This project included construction of 114 single patient rooms, on-site consulting suites, large outdoor therapy spaces, wellness areas, massage rooms, cafe and a gymnasium.

KRYFIX provided Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) Admixture and Hyperseal Waterstops to this $55m project.

Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) and Hyperseal Waterstops including Hyperseal BR and Hyperstop DB were applied to the lift pits, stairwell base, walls & tanks of this project.

Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) is a hydrophilic crystalline admixture used to create permanently waterproof concrete. It is used for the treatment of concrete and concrete products to protect against water intrusion, leakage, cracking, chemical attack & corrosion of reinforcing steel.

Hyperseal BR waterstops are a high-performance, hydrophilic butyl rubber waterstop which swells to form a long-lasting water- tight compression seal. It is suitable for static or low movement construction joints & cold-joints. Hyperstop DB is a hydrophilic bentonite waterstop for in-situ concrete construction joints.
