Background
Construction of the Red Cross Blood Service NSW Head Office in Alexandria, in Sydney’s inner city, was completed by BuildCorp Contracting. Designed by DVN Architecture, this building comprises Australia’s largest blood processing centre with various laboratories, warehousing including cold storage, donor facilities, corporate offices, loading docks and basement carpark.
KRYFIX provided Hyperseal Waterstops to this $73m project.
Solution
KRYFIX supplied Hyperseal D200 waterstops which were applied to the lift pits, basement stairwell, and the construction & expansion joints of this building.
Hyperseal D200 is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterstop system which provides a physical barrier and is suitable for concrete construction joints or expansion joints.
